JOB APPLICATION

BRION AFTER, OWNER

“I grew up in Rochester, NY, but I have lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for 15 years now.  I followed my brother out to the valley, after visiting him  one holiday I went back to my job and small cubicle with no view and decided I was in the wrong place, time to get to the mountains!”

SEAN VAN HORN, MANAGER

“I love Colorado and the Roaring Fork Valley because my outdoor pursuits are able to change with the seasons.  I spend my summers trail running, mountain biking and peak bagging  and my winters nordic skiing, skinning, and backcountry touring.  I moved to valley because this is a special place where the people really try to strike a work/life balance.  I love spending my days in the Elk Mountains and sharing my experiences with the people who call this valley home.”

EMILY STEERS

“I grew up in four of the six New England states and spent my summers on the coast of Rhode Island. I love to run, bike, hike, practice yoga and do any activity that enables me to be outside communing with nature. I landed in the Valley a little over four years ago after living in Vermont for 10 years. The West was calling me and I was instantly warmed by Sopris’s sweet glow and the kindhearted folks that proudly call Carbondale home.”

MORGAN NEELY

“I grew up outside of Asheville (which I claim as my hometown) in the foothills of western North Carolina, but I’ve lived a little bit of everywhere, from Davis, CA to Wiesbaden, Germany. I moved to Carbondale from Chapel Hill/Carrboro, NC in May 2015 when my girlfriend at the time finished her master’s degree and took a job with the City of Aspen. The relationship didn’t work out, but I couldn’t be happier that it brought me to the Roaring Fork Valley!”
